I kept telling myself I was thinking deeply about my life when really I had just become very skilled at staying still.

Someone asked what I did, and I realized I had built an entire identity around supporting other people’s dreams.

I don’t think I’m searching for a perfect title anymore. I think I’m searching for more rooms that make me feel that alive.

The strange thing is the more honestly I introduced myself, the more honestly other people started introducing themselves back.
