I never thought I'd actually say it, but here goes: I'm a published author!

I can't believe it. After a few months of writing and editing, I have published a full manuscript of 40,000+ words. With the help of Georgetown Professor Eric Koester, I'm published my book with New Degree Press in April 2021. It seems crazy to say it.

I think it's also funny to look back on how the idea came about. I was walking around the Target parking lot chatting about life with my babysitter of 10+ years when she said "Hey, you should write a book!" At first, we both laughed the idea off. As if I'd ever write a book. A few months later during the beginning of my second gap year, I came across a program helping students write books. That's when it all just happened to fall into place.
